About Me

My name is Brendan Ray. I have a BA in history and religion from Carleton University in Ottawa, an MA in linguistics from York University, and a MPhil and PhD from Birkbeck College at the University of London (UK, not Ontario). I’ve worked in education since 2003, in Canada, Turkey, Oman, Kuwait, and the UK. In Ottawa full-time since 2023.
